We've been basking in the abundance of summer's bounty here at Auspicious Projects, where we play by simple rules of profundity, such as: "who ever smiles first, wins." We also like to write our own rules, thanks to the rebel wisdom that Grandma taught us: "Never follow a recipe."
Iconoclasts at heart, anyone who's ever dined with us knows that we always order dessert first. Despite our raw-vegan lifestyle, we are connoisseurs of the cookie. Nothing makes us smile bigger than a wholesome dunkable circle of divine yum.
Earlier this year, on a whim, whilst sitting on our tibetan rug collection just before venturing to the Land of Nod, we decided to enter a recipe contest at the ticking edge of deadline. Just for kicks.
And, we won! We were surprised and honored to don the title of Miss Apron for our Sacred Yum-yum Monkey Cookies (Monkey Luv Monday is the most auspicious day to whip up a batch).
