Body work is part of Business Un-usual here at HQ, where we are a number of verbs bodying
forth at any given moment and would never admit that we had ticklish feet. There's no such
thing as a still life in the studio of all things auspicious, and sitting on the couch is a
novel experience for us. Because of our tireless energy, undying optimism and how good we
look in our powerful thinking caps, we're always in motion - bringing ideas to life.
Manifesting is an action verb. When it comes to a successful body of work, ideas coupled
with big vision take shape and come to fruition with the right plan of action. The Manifest
Sessions is structural integration for ideas in the sense that we decrease the distance
between a lofty goal and a tangible project to give bright thoughts an embodied place to
land and launch successfully.
We create happenings. We don't just dream big - we move boldly in the direction of those
dreams. What happens in the manifest sessions is a bit of a metamorphosis spa where
transformations and big shifts happen by opening up the space for creativity and mapping
the course through infinite possibilities towards the future that is calling you into it.
It's about movement and energy and the body electric: when your body of work begins to
exercise it's own creative powers, your art enters the world, makes waves, and makes a
difference. (See also: our Creative Conspiracy Theory)
Recently, these letters flew in from Owl Post addressed to the master of Idea Midwifery at
HQ - Manifesting Dept:
"You are a magnificent inspiration to me Ali. You take my ideas and give them a plan.
Thank YOU so much for mapping out a way for me to manifest my dreams. You changed my
life. People tell me all the time how much i've inspired them - because you inspired me in my
darkest days, sat me down, and gave me an action plan to get where I wanted to be. You
gave my ideas and projects a roadmap to get out into the world - to change the world.
Your work is changing the world, because you changed my world. Just by being you. Just
by showing up, being there, and doing what you do. You're a freaking genius."

Clothes Fall Off
"Thanks for spending time with us the past few weeks helping us see through our boards. I
know that you helped me find clarity, some catharsis, and a desire to keep making art.
Thanks for all the resources and feedback, and therapy..."
